My family booked the VIP deck at Hayhu after it was recommended by a friend. We wanted a quiet, peaceful, all inclusive beach day on our Caribbean cruise, and it did not disappoint. The VIP deck was spacious and quiet with plenty of seating options and a private bathroom and shower. Service was excellent. They were available and helpful without being overbearing. The grilled meats, guacamole, mocktails and smoothies were delicious. The beach and water were lovely, clean, and well maintained - although you could tell where the property ended and began based on plastic waste left by the high tide. It took about 20 min to walk out of the cruise port to find our arranged taxi and then 20 min ride to the club. Overall I would recommend Hayhu!

We had 8 in our group. Very peaceful and not over crowded. Food, drinks along with the service was fantastic. We are already planning on going back on our next cruise in the beginning of July. As a travel advisor I highly recommend HayHu to my clients.

We had a great time at Hayhu resort. The service was excellent and the location was beautiful. The roads are a little rough getting out there, but overall we had a great time. I would travel here again in fall or winter when there is less seaweed, but they take great pride in their property and it shows

Very secluded and beautiful clear blue water beach with white sand. It’s about 40 mins taxi ride from the cruise port. I love the foods. The credit they gave me with my ticket covered the food and drinks for us. So nice. They are super friendly and went out of their way to let me try coconuts from the tree. Definitely will want to come back.

We were on cruise ship and came for day trip. We booked two vip areas and had an amazing day. The setting in jungle was gorgeous and vip area with loungers, hammocks, and private bathroom was really nice. The beach was fun for the kids with some waves. Food and drinks were also good. Transport to and from cruise ship was also taken care of. Highly recommend

My boyfriend and I visited this beautiful place during our cruise vacation last week. It was like something you’d see in a movie. After a 20-30 minute taxi ride, we were greeted at the door and taken to our private area. It had a table for two, loungers, and bean bags, all right in front of the ocean. There were only about twenty people on the beach at any given time, and by the time we left, there was just one other person there. The restrooms were clean, the food was delicious, and the service was even better. All the staff members were friendly and attentive. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

This was an amazing spot with some of the best mixed drinks I have ever had. Legitimately, amazing. We did the VIP package from our cruise boat. A piece of paradise with incredible shrimp and fantastic lobster. Thank you to Natasha for her attentiveness. The kid and adults alike enjoyed the beach and the restful hammock and chairs. We snorkeled in the surf and looked very American attempting volley ball. Things I wish I knew, but worked out ok anyway: 1) The port exit is bizarrely far away from the ship. My elderly parents wanted to come, but were afraid to try walking that far. After doing the walk, I agree with their choice! 2) The provided ride is a normal taxi van, but that's totally fine and works great. Just keep asking people for Ruth and she will get you to the right place. 3) Hayhu is about 25 minutes from the port, but SO FREAKING WORTH IT. Just trust me. We had 5 ship docked at Costa Maya and were so thankful to be away from everyone else. 4) Double check the time zones. They were gracious about our mess up for the time between the boat and Costa Maya. The boat docked at the same time as our scheduled pick up and the coordinator (Gabriel) handled it like a pro. You rock Gabriel.
